Bruce Faddis

Bruce Faddis, 26, worked at Black Butte Ranch Resort near Sisters, Oregon, as associate golf course superintendent. The weekend of the eruption, he packed up his sister’s Datsun station wagon and headed to the mountain. Enthusiastic, funny, honest, and willing to help anybody, he was last seen around 12:30 PM on May 17 about 8 miles west of the volcano.
